We celebrated Jimmy's & Stef's 30th birthday at San Antonio Community Hospital (where Deron & Ken work). Jonah came down with pneumonia and our plans got shifted! Still the party went on and we had a lovely time in his room in the paediatric ward!
Jimmy & Stef had a few very intense days, climaxing with this birthday celebration.
All the family came and truly lifted the place in joyful fare!
Pam & Shellie dished out the yummy "All American Chocolate" cake and ice cream. Man, the cake was rich, like mega dense chocolate fudge. (The hospital staff enjoyed some too)
Ken tenderly holding his precious grandson who has an IV in his arm :(
Here is proof... grandma enjoys desserts on special occassions. Because of her diabetes she is on a pretty strict diet... but celebrations are exceptions... just smaller portions :)
Stef was totally and joyfully shocked with her Arbonne gifts!
Deron just can't get out of his work mode as he gives the bed a little push :) He is a transportation aide at San Antonio Hospital.
Shellie got her cuddle with Jonah and both are happier because of it!
Jasen joined in a group hug with Scott & Jenny.
Steve & Prestin enjoy some of the hospital's great crushed ice! This was a birthday party none of us will ever forget!!!
