Deron's 20th Birthday

Deron turned 20 this month. He had to work all day and then run off to Epidemic to help with the Jr Hi young folk! Somewhere in there we grabbed a few moments to open some presents and say "Happy Birthday!"He came home from work and discovered a tree in a barrel outside his window. It just so happens to be his favourite type of tree. A Red Japanese Maple!

The Family Anniversary Dinner

We had the opportunity to go out as a family to celebrate our 24th anniversary. So where did we go? To the Claimjumper for some very tasty food, and did I mention in huge proportions? This was a special treat for all of us on this special occasion.Ready to dive in to our fine cuisine!

Anniversary Dinner

For their 24th wedding anniversary, Steve & Shellie enjoyed a lovely night out at Salsitas Mexican Grill. Unknowingly, Matt & Debbie had arranged this dinner together, not realising the significance. You see, Matt was their best man in the wedding party 24 years ago!
It was a really sweet night together, culminating with some yummy frozen yogurt at the Golden Spoon!

Prestin graduates from year 10

Though we didn't have a formal presentation, we did acknowledge Prestin's achievement of completing year 10 of High School. Though it may seem odd to our American friends to do such a thing, in Australia, this is a key event in a young person's life. So Prestin was presented with an iPod classic! This is something he has wanted for a long time!
