A day in the desert with the boys

After about an hour and a half driving deep into the desert, we arrived for a day of shooting up targets, plastic bottles and old doors (well and a few other things like a clay monkey head with a pair of glasses).First things first, we had to set up the targets, 25, 50 and 100 yards away.Deron getting his canons ready.Lighting up the 7mm. Deron said it is an awesome feeling exploding a water bottle at 100 yards!Prestin giving the big gun a go!Ken shooting his HK and Prestin waiting to conquer the 22. By the way, Prestin tamed this beast that everyone else had all but thrown away. He was hitting the mark even at 100 yards!!! All those computer games did train him for something.Ken giving his mini it's maiden run. Ken & Deron examining their hits and preparing for another attack. The softball Deron is holdling literally exploded.
Deron spotting for Ken at 100 yards.
Even Steve hit the mark with the big gun.
Prestin mastering the 357
The 12 gauge does the trick at short distance!
This door was literally obliterated before we were done!

Ironically, hours after we departed an earthquake registering 5.1 shook the area we had been shooting in!
