Chili Cook Off

Being here, this year we were able to participate in Flipside's annual "Chili Cook Off". It was a blast setting up our slow cooker between Ken & Pam and Scott & Jenny. Though Pam won the award in the morning, I reckon our chili was the most tasty (not to mention hottest) out of around a dozen contestants. Of course I am not biased at all!

Scott & Jenny brought an ALL BEEF chili. The name of their chili was "Beans are for wimps" (or something like that).

Ken & Pam used a secret Mike Scioscia (Angels' Manager) recipe. And to not vote for them was to not support the Angels. Well, not quite. Their chili was very tasty and they rightly deserved the coveted award! Please note the Angels Rally Monkey hanging from Pam's neck! We never had a chance!
